Slovak alternative rock band BLANCHE emerged 1992 in the aftermath of the Velvet Revolution and symbolizes a unique chapter in contemporary history.

Based in Komárno near the Hungarian border, their 90s music captures the era's energy and newfound artistic freedom. The band's lineup includes Imrich Bölcskei on drums, Peter Mura and Ladislav Zsibrita on guitars, Juraj Opauszki on bass and Oto Spál handling vocals, piano, and harmonica.
